Sorry I’ve been MIO so much. I’ve hit the ground running since I got accepted into my program, which is great for me but shitty for my tumblr. Anyway, My hair still has a littttttttle bit of a red tint to the ends and it drives me nuts but I’m pretty sure I’m the only person that notices. I’ve been craving a subtle ombre dye job kind of like Shay Mitchell but even more natural but I’m trying to stay away incase I donate in the future still.
Yesterday, I bought a hair stick and did a deep conditioning. If you remember last time, I did a deep conditioning and then wrapped my hair in two buns. This time, I tried it with my hair stick to look a little more fancy. I think It’s a pretty nice hairstyle and my hair has bouncy curls when I take it out. I’m leaving London today so I don’t think I’m able to wear a hair stick on the plane but I thought I’d test it out before I go to the airport. What do you think?
Right before bed, I twirled my hair into two tight buns, one on top of the other, while my hair was still a little damp. When I woke up and undid the buns, my hair had soft curls and a lot of volume. My hair usually comes out pretty cool when I go to bed with buns but I wasn’t expecting this haha.
I’m in London for another week so I’m sort of limited on hair mask ingredients. I decided to treat myself with an hour long treatment. I mixed my conditioner, olive oil, honey, and mayo. Seriously, mayo is the best ingredient for deep conditioning. You don’t smell it once it’s rinsed out. My hair is still wet but it feels soft already. I haven’t had a cut in about 3 months. My ends are looking pretty good so I think I’ll wait another month or so before I get my next one.
The place I’m interning at is obsessed with Game of Thrones and does GD work for them so I figured it was an interesting idea to go in tomorrow with a GoT- esque hair style. I put my hair in double dutch braids for the night to wake up with a wavy base. BTW, I’m able to braid like this without a mirror now.

So I’ve finally started getting into Game of Thrones and fell in love with Daenerys Targaryen’s hair. Of course I wouldn’t dye my hair her color since it’s too damaging and probably would look weird on me, but I love the braids she has. I’m considering trying out some of her hair styles.
I’m glad to see it’s helping! I started October 2010. Time really flies. It’s gotten pretty long so far but I’m not up to my goal yet.
I snuck in the kitchen and used olive oil when no one was looking just now haha.
I know right? Not quite there yet but almost. My last haircut set me back a bit by like an inch or so but it’s summer so my hair should grow fast.
Thank you! It’s a bit frizzy here, but I’m guessing it might be from the water in London or the slight humidity. I have to figure out what professional hairstyles I can pull off for my internship. Any ideas?
Since I didn’t pack any hair supplies except for a comb and shampoo and conditioner, I considered buying rollers. Turns out it’s 5 pounds for 5 rollers, which is not enough for my thick hair. There is no way I’m paying 10 or even 15 pounds on that. I had to buy a pillow case and ended up having an extra. I made my rag curl set and used the rest of the material to dry my hair. No extra money spent woo =] My bangs have been driving my crazy since they’ve grown out a little and are getting poofy. I’ll have to figure out the situation before my job starts. Today, I’m wearing a “long” ponytail. My hair is long, but I admit I cheated. I have 3 ponytails on top of each other which makes my hair appear longer and as if it’s part of one ponytail. It’s totally worth trying.
