Hey my name is Jen and I am on a Natural Hair Journey to achieve healthy waist length hair. I started my Journey on October 17th, 2010 when my hair was only a short shag cut. After a lot of rebellious hair abuse, such as dying and frying, I decided enough was enough and had most of my hair chopped off in order to begin with a clean slate. This tumblr was created to encourage me to keep my hair healthy and natural as I grow it out. It is also used to help me document my Journey and help others a long the way. Do not confuse this with a "hairspiration" tumblr; hairspiration tumblrs only have pictures of hair styles and scattered advice. Any advice given in this tumblr is from personal experience and subjects I've researched. I follow many other hair journeys, hairspirations, and hair advice tumblrs as well. I hope my Journey inspires you to start your own. If you are on a Hair Journey, I recommend joining LHC, or the Long Hair Community; I can also let others know of your new tumblr to get you started.
