Natural Hair Journey
So I switched products again to try something I thought was interesting. The company is called DermOrganic. I’ve never tried a product with argan oil before so I thought I’d give it a shot. This is a natural, organic conditioning masque that is supposed to be used only twice a week, which is cool since I don’t wash my hair every day. I’ve been in Florida for a week, and I went in the Ocean and the pool. The sun was also powerful. Triple Nutrition was alright, but after a day it made my hair smell a little funky and oily.  I decided to use this mask instead for a deep conditioning. Before I did a deep conditioning, I washed my hair out thoroughly with V05 clarifying conditioner. After my hair was clean, I mixed the hair masque with melted coconut oil, honey, peppermint extract, green tea extract, and egg. I covered my hair with an aluminum cap and left it in for 30 minutes. Then, I washed it out with cold water and did a final rince with ACV. I used the masque as a leave in conditioner and put coconut oil in my hair starting from my ends. I used a T-shirt to towel dry. I didn’t even have time to use my comb so my hair just finished air drying the way it was. This is how I woke up in the morning after wearing a lose braid to bed. No frizz. My hair is very soft. It has a lot of body. It doesn’t feel dry, it just feels very clean from the V05. It’s very manageable today and I’m really happy with this. Even more than the Triple Nutrition and any other conditioners I have at my dorm. To make it last longer, I’ll mix it with my thick henna conditioner. If I happen to see it sold around here, I’ll stock up. It was about 30 bucks for 33oz. It looks like the wen bottle but it is so much better than wen and 20 dollars cheaper.
